U.S. distances itself from suspected Israeli attack on Iran’s Natanz

'The United States had no involvement,' senior US official said.

The Biden administration indicated that it had no involvement in an incident at Iran’s Natanz enrichment facility over the weekend that Iran accused Israel of conducting.

“We have seen reports of an incident at the Natanz enrichment facility in Iran,” a senior U.S. administration official said in a statement today. “The United States had no involvement, and we have nothing to add to speculation about the causes.”
